Senior Analyst, Operational Risk Management

Our Client

A reputable bank is seeking a Senior Analyst, Operational Risk Management to support risk-based end-to-end testing activities by evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls.

About the Role

• Oversee and guide junior analysts in daily operational duties, issues, escalation, learning and development; be the go to subject matter expert of testing methodology and business areas under review
• Facilitate risk and control assessment, conduct independent review and RCSA in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform risk-based testing activities throughout the lifecycle, evaluate design and effectiveness of critical end-to-end processes and controls; follow up on validation and closure of control issues as identified in controls testing
• Assist with development and maintenance of tools utilised to execute and memorialize risk assessments and control testing
• Develop clear and impactful senior management briefing materials and periodic management reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or any relevant discipline(s)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management or external/internal audit
• Proven track records of supervising juniors or leading projects or engagements
