Salesforce Technical Lead

Our Client is a MNC IT Solution Provider and a top leader in its respective industry. With huge presence across 16 countries, they offer a range of solutions to protect and enhance the connected world. Being a public listed MNC with over billions of revenues, they invest massive resources into their staff training programme to develop their people from the ground. As part of their expansion, they are currently looking for Salesforce Technical Lead or Senior Salesforce Developer.

The Salesforce technical lead will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing complex Salesforce solutions to support the Digital Intelligence business
  • Working closely with the lead solution architect to develop robust architecture for the growth of Salesforce at the company.
  • Accelerating the technical capability of the Salesforce development team.
  • Implementing a culture of continuous improvements within the Customer Management Systems team that ensures the team looks retrospectively to every delivery cycle and consciously applies new learnings to our ways of working.

Key accountabilities:

  • Line management of the developers and QA testers located in KL.
  • Be at the forefront of all Salesforce design and development, leading the developers to deliver excellence.
  • Facilitate and physically deliver the most complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Increase the capability and capacity of the development team to ensure long term stability within the team.
  • Implement, run and improve an appropriate adaptation of Agile Practice (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and other delivery methodology to ensure safe and effective delivery of Internal Projects, Change and Unplanned Work.
  • Facilitate effective estimation, planning and scheduling of change across the Back Office Products
  • Stimulate multi-functional and cross-functional working, a highly collaborative environment and full visibility of all the work.
  • Be accountable and create accountability within the team to deliver system changes as Planned and Committed and act as the escalation point to remove potential barriers to progress
  • Develop proposals on tactical and strategic improvements plans on People, Process, Tool
  • Conduct Lean analysis such as Value Stream Mapping to optimise constraints and remove impediments. The goal is to improve the flow of work and deliver more value.
  • Measure, analyse and improve the performance of the team and look at metrics like Sprint Velocity, Technical Debt, Unplanned work, Team Happiness, etc. Continuous improvement is key
  • Inspire a Learning Environment - will read, research and learn whilst teaching and coaching others.
  • Produce senior reports to the Head of Customer Management Systems on the performance of Dev and Ops activities and regular updates to senior stakeholders on work packages as committed in the roadmap.
  • Provide with Technical subject matter expertise to both stakeholders and team members.
  • Ensure team in KL is appropriately staffed and skilled to scale the CMS portfolio of applications.
  • Provide Solution Architecture and Business Analysis coverage as appropriate.
