Regulatory Compliance Officer

I am collaborating with a Foreign FI to seek a Regulatory Compliance AVP to drive and ensure compliance within Regulatory domain in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.This role offers a dynamic and engaging environment, perfect for someone passionate about compliance and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regulatory reviews for various entities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This includes planning, documenting, and communicating the review process and outcomes.

• Formulate, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with local regulations and group directives. Monitor new regulatory requirements and communicate impacts to stakeholders.

• Support the implementation of the Professional Ethics framework, handle compliance breaches, and coordinate responses for regulatory inspections and audits. Prepare compliance reports and manage staff declarations and approvals.

Qualification:

• Min 7 years of prior experience in compliance, particularly within the banking or financial services industry, familiarity with Shariah law and regulatory frameworks will be an added advantage.
• A deep understanding of local regulatory requirements, professional ethics, and the ability to keep up with regulatory changes and implement necessary measures.
