Our client is a specialty oils and fats manufacturer seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and grow their business across the Southeast Asia region. Based in Kuala Lumpur on a permanent basis, this is a high-impact role for a proactive, independent sales professional with a strong business development mindset and the confidence to operate across diverse markets.

The Role

Ready to take ownership of a region and make it your own? Here's what you'll be doing:

• Driving sales performance and sustainable growth across the SEA region, ensuring consistent brand presence
• Managing and developing first and second-tier distributor networks to maintain market coverage and stable supply
• Building strong relationships with key accounts through technical and commercial support, product presentations, and contract negotiations
• Generating qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, and marketing initiatives
• Representing the business at trade shows and industry events to strengthen market visibility
• Keeping a close eye on market trends to identify new opportunities and recommend suitable product solutions

What We're Looking For

Commercially sharp and ready to lead? Here's what you'll bring:

• A degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field
• Over 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in specialty fats, cocoa powder, or food ingredients
• Proven experience collaborating with R&D teams to develop customised product solutions
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• A self-driven, proactive approach with the ability to work independently across multiple markets
