Our client is a well-known listed business services group, headquartered in Australia. Due to an internal move, this newly created position has opened up for a Finance & Administration Manager to join the KL office. Based centrally in KLCC and reporting the Group Financial Controller in Australia, you will have reporting responsibility for the Asia region.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Management Reporting (e.g. contractor reports, board reports, variance analysis, KPI reporting)
  • Month end processes (e.g. bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, Asia P&Ls)
  • Assistance with half year and annual reporting
  • Revenue reconciliation and recognition
  • Review of contracts
  • Respond to head office and auditor queries
  • Compliance and internal controls
  • Contact person for relevant local government agencies, banks, auditors, etc.
  • Office administration/management
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects

Candidate requirements:

  • Accounting Degree
  • Qualified Accountant
  • At least 5-10 years' work experience, with at least 1-2 years in a team leader/supervisory role
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also to work independently
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Sound business knowledge
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
