Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description

This market-leading Multinational chip maker in Selangor is currently seeking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To be the representive of external parties on quality complaints.
  • To ensure proper failure analysis for all complaints.
  • To cross-functionally collaborate with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, R&D and Product Engineering on quality complaint.
  • To ensure completion of countermeasure reporting and implementation.
  • To judge & ensure effectiveness of countermeasure.
  • To support in customer audit and certification body audit and close gaps on findings raised during audits.
  • To plan, lead & run quality improvement activities.
  • To educate related staff on quality matter, customer requirement or WI/SOP.
  • To improve QA workflow or operation for effectiveness of QA gate.
  • To ensure compliance to ISO 9001/IATF16949 and related standard requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Others) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in semiconductor field.
  • Knowledgeable in 8D methodology, sampling plan.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.
  • Excellent command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Comprehension of Mandarin Chinese would be an added benefit.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
