Project Manager (Insurance)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects by:

• Planning and supervising one or more concurrent projects, including allocating project resources, creating budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Providing consistent project updates to various stakeholders regarding progress, adjustments, and strategy.
• Incorporating industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Assessing project performance to identify areas for enhancement.

* Overall project accountability: Responsible for the success of the project, including the tasks delegated to other team members.

* Team leadership: Directing the team towards a shared objective.

* Financial management: Managing project finances.

Candidate Specifications:

Required:

* Possess a bachelor's or advanced degree, or have equivalent work experience.

* Demonstrated excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.

* Strong communication skills, including the ability to confidently collaborate with stakeholders across multiple geographies and levels.

* Ability to lead meetings and provide reports to senior stakeholders with confidence.

* Proven track record of completing projects within the outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Preferred:

* Possession of a Project Management Professional certification, such as Prince Practitioner (Agile) or PMP.

* At least 5 years of experience in insurance or a related financial field.

* At least 3 years of experience in claims fraud, risk assessment, intelligence, or a related field.

* Knowledge of strong analytical thinking, business and financial acumen, strategic orientation, and results-oriented approach.
