Our client is a Global Multinational company with an established Shared Services in Malaysia. In line with their expanding structure and exciting development plan in Southeast Asia, a great opportunity has become available for a vibrant and talented professional to join this organization. You will provide support and be the crucial link with the Global team in support of implementing the Procurement system.

The Role:

The main objective is to implement the Procurement system globally an ensure accurate planning, prioritisation and execution across the teams. This role will be tasked to provide system support and analysis of procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Champion the Procurement system implementation as per the agreed Project timelines
  • Ensure efficiency of the procure-to-pay process, working alongside the team to improve purchase requisition creation and payment processes
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot issues to provide technical support
  • Responsible for system set-up, requirement studies, Acceptance Training and master data maintenance
  • Measure project performance using appropriate matrices
  • Work closely with IT and Finance teams on system integration
  • Offer training and support on to system users
  • Monitor performance and ensure compliance to procurement guidelines and policies
  • Monthly report generation and spend analysis

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferable in a Business Administration or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in Procurement
  • Minimum 2 years of Management experience
  • Language requirements - English and Mandarin (read, write and conversation)
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Strong team building skills and ability to effectively influence others
  • Strong compliance orientation within and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, a flexible, collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem solving, and an ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Travel is required to deliver System Training and Support
