Our client is a growing manufacturer based in Setia Alam, seeking a hands-on Purchasing Executive to manage their end-to-end procurement function - and play a pivotal role in an upcoming ERP implementation.

The Role
A broad and impactful remit awaits:
  • Owning the full purchasing cycle across raw materials, consumables, spare parts, equipment, and services
  • Raising, tracking, and following up on purchase orders with both local and international suppliers
  • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and service standards to consistently deliver best value
  • Coordinating with the warehouse team to maintain stock accuracy and prevent production disruption
  • Actively contributing to ERP implementation, data migration, and procurement process development
  • Partnering with Production, Planning, Finance, Engineering, and Quality teams on material requirements
What We're Looking For
You'll bring a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skill:
  • At least 3 years' purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid ERP system experience (mandatory); prior involvement in an ERP implementation is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) - essential for direct supplier communication
  • Strong grasp of inventory management, supplier negotiation, and material planning principles
  • Highly organised, analytical, and able to work independently across multiple stakeholder groups
