OTC Specialist (German Speaking)

About the Role

This position is German Speaking Specialist Finance (AR / OTC) within the Finance Shared Services team.

The role sits under the Order-to-Cash (OTC) function and focuses on end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations. The person will be responsible for ensuring customer invoices are issued accurately, customer payments are applied correctly, collections activities are performed on time, and month-end closing requirements are completed properly.

This is not purely a customer service role. It is a finance operations position that combines AR, billing, cash application, collections, reconciliation, and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer invoice processing and billing
• Credit note and intercompany invoice management
• Cash application and allocation of customer payments
• Investigating unidentified or unapplied payments
• Accounts receivable reconciliation
• Collection activities and follow-up on overdue invoices
• Preparing customer statements and AR aging reports
• Supporting month-end closing activities
• Journal entries and provision support
• Audit support and documentation
• Working closely with commercial teams, order management teams, and local finance stakeholders
• Driving process improvement and automation initiatives

Who We are Looking For

Ideally, candidates should have:

• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or OTC
• German speaking and writing proficiency
• Experience with billing, cash application, collections, or AR reconciliation
• SAP experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Shared Services or multinational company experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and solve payment or reconciliation issues
• Good attention to detail and month-end close exposure
