The Role
Shape the Group's non-financial and operational risk agenda - building a robust framework across a complex, multinational organisation.
  • Develop and improve the Group's risk methodology, covering risk taxonomy, control library, and risk appetite
  • Oversee a dynamic RCSA process across head office and a portfolio of business units
  • Review operational risk incidents, identify root causes, and drive comprehensive remediation and action tracking
  • Serve as the designated risk steward for key risk areas, supporting reporting to senior governance forums
  • Build risk awareness and capability across business units through training and practical guidance
  • Lead strategic risk projects aligned to the Group's broader objectives
What We're Looking For
A strategic risk leader with deep operational risk expertise and the confidence to influence at senior levels.
  • Degree-qualified with relevant professional certifications
  • Proven background in operational or non-financial risk within financial services, ideally insurance
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and embed risk frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Strong data analytics skills - including AI, automation, or machine learning applications
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Flexible, agile approach with strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
