Our client is a well-established technology organisation at the heart of Malaysia's digital sector. With an exciting project gaining momentum, they are seeking a driven QA Engineer to join their team - available on a permanent or 1-year contract basis - and play a key role in upholding application quality from build to release.

The Role
You'll be involved at every stage - from reviewing requirements to validating the final release.
  • Analyse product specs and develop comprehensive test cases spanning functional, regression, SIT, E2E, and UI/UX testing
  • Execute manual and automated test cycles across web and mobile platforms
  • Conduct non-functional testing covering performance, security, and usability
  • Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or Trello
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and resolve issues efficiently
  • Uphold QA standards and deliver clear test reports and status updates to stakeholders
What We're Looking For
A sharp, quality-focused individual who communicates well and thrives in an Agile setting.
  • Solid grounding in software testing principles and QA methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications
  • Skilled at producing well-structured test cases and clear defect reports
  • Working knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Trello) and basic Browser DevTools
  • Comfortable operating within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative team player with confident communication skills
  • Open to Malaysian citizens only
  • Advantageous: exposure to the telco sector, basic HTML/CSS/API testing, or experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
