Our client, a multinational manufacturing company with a long established presence in the Malaysia market, is currently recruiting a Managing Director to lead the country operations. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving the business to greater heights while leading a team of 100+ across Malaysia.
Area of responsibility will include:
Full ownership of the country P&L
Overseeing multiple production sites while leading a strong HSE culture
Driving sales with a high level of customer engagement
Restructuring the organisation and taking a lead on strategy and transformation projects
The role requires an experienced and passionate hands on leader, as comfortable 'walking the floor' as they are networking with key clients. This is a highly visible leadership role so strong internal and external stakeholder engagement is critical. Candidates should have a strong track record in sales & marketing, driving profitable organisations, as well as overseeing manufacturing operations.
