The Role
You'll lead the delivery of a varied audit portfolio, central to shaping and executing a risk-based annual audit plan. Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and executing end-to-end risk-based audit assignments
  • Reviewing audit working papers in line with established methodology
  • Presenting findings and reports to senior business stakeholders
  • Building and sustaining strong working relationships across the organisation
  • Mentoring and developing a team of auditors within a matrix structure
  • Managing resource scheduling and liaising with wider audit practice teams
  • Conducting post-audit reviews to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
A seasoned audit professional with the confidence to engage senior management and the leadership capability to build high-performing teams. You'll bring:
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification management experience within an audit environment
  • A recognised audit or accountancy qualification (CISA or equivalent is advantageous)
  • Solid knowledge of investment and asset management, including fund operations and key asset classes
  • A proven track record of coaching and developing audit talent
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex control environments
  • Clear, confident communication suited to senior stakeholder engagement
  • Comfort with a role requiring around 40% travel across local and regional locations
