Maintenance Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate technicians and operators to achieve production and company objectives.

  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure output, quality, and efficiency targets are met.

  • Ensure products comply with quality specifications, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and monitor preventive and autonomous maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Manage spare part inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely repairs and replacements.

  • Maintain and improve Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in line with ISO 22000, HACCP, and other standards.

  • Ensure documentation, audits, and compliance activities are properly maintained.

  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and quality.

  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching and on-the-job training.

  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and ISO 14001 requirements.

  • Support other activities and assignments as directed by the superior.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.

  • Experience in beverage manufacturing preferred.

  • Good knowledge of FSMS, HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and maintenance planning skills.

  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing technicians or operators.

  • Familiar with continuous improvement tools such as TPM, Kaizen, or OEE monitoring.

  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support shift operations when required.
