L1 Support Engineer

Our client is a multinational IT product-based organisation that specializes in data analytics across several industries. They are currently looking out for an L1 Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as frontline to confirm problem and capture needed information
  • Resolves issues to the extent that application and technical constraints allow
  • Build software packages
  • Deliver software packages
  • Monitor Cloud solutions including verification of alarms and alerts
  • Collect operational measurements and identify trends around system performance and health

A qualified L1 Support Engineer in this team should have the following:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or any related discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in software application experience
  • Exposure to application support and automation support
  • Strong working knowledge in Java programming (SE/EE)
  • Willing to work shift hours to accommodate to different time zones (US/Europe)
  • Good knowledge of UNIX runtime databases and environment would be an added advantage
