Junior Accountant (Remote role)

About Our Client:
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a keen investigative mind, looking to build a specialist career in financial services? Our client, a specialist professional services Australian-based firm, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team on a permanent, fully remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:
This is a rare opportunity to develop niche expertise in a technically challenging and intellectually stimulating environment with strong long-term career prospects. You'll work directly on real cases, sharpen your analytical skills.

• Liaising with clients to gather company information and financial documentation.
• Reviewing and analysing financial records, including bank statements and financial reports.
• Identifying, preserving, and supporting the recovery of company assets.
• Assisting clients in completing statutory and regulatory forms.
• Preparing detailed reports for key stakeholders.
• Supporting the conclusion of case matters.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or external audit.
• Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English, spoken and written is essential for managing clients who only speak Mandarin.
• Strong self-discipline, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
• An investigative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
