Job description


Our client is a multinational manufacturer that has a global presence and employs approximately 70,000 employees. They are looking for a HR Business Partner to lead and support HR operations for their facility in Klang.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for talent acquisition and recruitment processes to support the business manpower requirements
  • Carry out HR reviews and focusing on retention strategies and succession planning
  • Manage performance management exercise and annual merit exercise
  • Process the applications of staff benefits as well as execute the processing according to company's policies and procedures
  • Manage payroll process, check and verify and work closely with payroll service provider to ensure accurate and timely pay-out
  • Coordinate and administer training needs for the organization.
  • Process HRD Corp submission and claims
  • Provide advice and industrial relations support for fact finding, investigations on disciplinary and non-performance cases
  • Involve in Domestic Inquiry (DI) processes
  • Provide support through planning and executing activities/events for Malaysia site employees as well as the hosted employees
  • Maintenance of employee database-update new recruit, resignation, promotion, termination, employee status and other related matters in relevant HR systems
  • Preparation of employment related documents and proper filing of all employee personal files
  • Assist with other related HR task from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR generalist experience
  • Must be able to work in Klang
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay
