HR Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established multinational organisation within the industrial manufacturing space, with a strong presence across Asia. They are currently seeking an HR Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations as they set up their new plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end HR strategy and operations, ensuring people initiatives are aligned with business objectives, site priorities, and organisational culture.
• Drive an engaging, high-performance and inclusive workplace culture, supporting change management, communications, and positioning the organisation as an Employer of Choice.
• Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employees, fostering strong employee relations, empowered teams, and effective issue resolution across the site.
• Translate business strategies into actionable HR plans, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, systems, governance standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage key HR programs including talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning and development, compensation & benefits, payroll, and HR budgeting.
• Partner closely with site leaders (including EHS) to embed a strong safety culture, capability development, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organisation.

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, or similar. Additional certifications such as PHR, SHRM, etc. are good to have.
• Comes with around 6 - 8 years of HR experience, with prior HR leadership experience.
• Prior experience with plant operations and/or new plant set up would be advantageous.
• Strong grasp of HR operations and employee lifecycle.
• Fluent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong judgment and organization skills.
