The Role

Lead the design strategy and planning function across a portfolio of property development projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans across the full project lifecycle - from feasibility and market analysis through to authority approvals
• Overseeing project timelines, milestones, and design quality to ensure alignment with management standards and regulatory requirements
• Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and consultants, setting clear performance expectations
• Reviewing building specifications, tender drawings, and design details to minimise errors and variation orders
• Ensuring all planning and building plan submissions are completed on schedule, in line with regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

A grounded, experienced leader with a strong foundation in property development and design management. You'll bring:

• 10+ years of senior management experience in property development or construction
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Town Planning, or a related discipline; Master's degree advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian property development process and regulatory frameworks
• Strong decision-making, team leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to manage multiple consultants and cross-functional teams
