Leading multinational bank seeks a Head of Service Migrations

Our client is one of the first global shared services center of an international bank in Malaysia. It is already one of the largest IT hubs in Asia and are driving extremely ambitious plans for continued growth. The bank itself is a tier-1 bank operating across all areas of retail, corporate and investment banking. Currently, there is a need for a senior service migrations individual to join their vast growing team.

Reporting to the head of the business unit, you will be a single point of contact and provide advice, guidance and seamless transition of access administration to centralized identity & access management function. You will also need to understand the business's process and priorities what the customers & business actually require from a service to improve customer and user's satisfaction as well as to provide clear and comprehensive plans that enable the customer and business change projects to align their activities with the service transition plans. Furthermore, you will need to initiate and influence relationships with and between key stakeholders; acts as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders and business units. Lastly, you will need to negotiate, agree and manage service models & transition plans and budgets and monitor implementation to ensure targets are met.

To qualify, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any related IT field
  • Deep technical expertise in IT risk, control and compliance process frameworks, tools and standards such as ISO 27001, CobiT and ITIL
  • Related certifications such as CISA, CGEIT and CRISC would be an added advantage
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, establish facts and make recommendations in written and oral form
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Banking experience is preferred but not essential
