The Role

Leading the legal function from contracts to corporate governance:

• Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements - PPAs, EPC contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and corporate contracts
• Deliver strategic legal counsel on commercial and project-related matters across the region
• Identify and mitigate project risks with a commercially pragmatic approach
• Manage disputes and litigation, working with external counsel to protect business interests
• Oversee corporate exercises - M&A, restructurings, and equity transactions - and support board governance
• Lead the legal team and manage external legal advisors

What We're Looking For

A seasoned legal professional with the depth and drive to lead:

• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification
• At least 10 years' experience in-house or in a law firm, with a focus on infrastructure, construction, or energy
• Strong grounding in commercial and corporate law, including PPAs, joint ventures, and tender submissions
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage external counsel effectively
• Regional or international exposure is a strong advantage
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
• Resilient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently at a senior level
