The Role

Responsible for enterprise-wide governance spanning quality, safety, environment, system assurance, ESG, and regulatory compliance. Key accountabilities include:

• Developing and implementing compliance and assurance strategies across the full asset lifecycle - design, construction, operations, and renewal
• Advising the board and senior leadership on material risks and regulatory obligations
• Overseeing system assurance, RAMS, IMS certification, and audit programmes
• Managing OSHE governance and performance standards across corporate, project, and site-level environments
• Leading ESG performance monitoring and sustainability integration
• Building and retaining a high-performing, multidisciplinary compliance team

What We're Looking For

A credible, senior leader with the expertise and presence to operate at the highest levels of governance. You'll need:

• 15+ years in quality, assurance, safety, environment, or compliance, with 7+ years in senior enterprise-wide leadership
• Proven track record building integrated compliance and assurance frameworks across complex capital projects or assets
• Background in infrastructure, oil & gas, utilities, or a safety-critical sector preferred
• Strong experience in regulatory engagement, audits, and resolving material non-conformities
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field; postgraduate or professional certification advantageous
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting advantageous
