Head of Finance

About our client:
Are you a senior finance leader ready to drive performance, governance, and transformation across a growing education group? Our client, a well-established education group in Petaling Jaya, is seeking a Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team. This role covers full spectrum, spanning financial planning, business partnering, reporting, controls, treasury, and transformation across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:
You'll be reporting to the CFO:

• Lead the Group's Finance Operations and FP&A function, partnering closely with the CEO and CFO to drive performance, compliance, and transformation.
• Driving the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across the Group.
• Overseeing management accounts, statutory reporting, and MFRS compliance.
• Leading audit engagements and strengthening governance, internal controls, and finance SOPs.
• Partnering with business units on performance reviews, profitability improvement, and resource allocation.
• Driving finance transformation, ERP optimisation, cash flow planning, and payment governance.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial reporting and operations, and having the experience in leading finance teams at a senior leadership level.
• Experience leading multiple finance functions and driving transformation or ERP implementation.
