Leading financial institution seeks a Head of Contact Centre

Our client is one of the first global shared services center of an international bank in Malaysia. It is already one of the largest IT hubs in Asia and are driving extremely ambitious plans for continued growth. The bank itself is a tier-1 bank operating across all areas of retail, corporate and investment banking. Currently, there is a hiring for a Head of Contact Centre to join their vast growing team.

Reporting to the Regional Head, you will be work with the Country and Regional Head to drive hub's performance. You will also be required to work within budget and being innovative towards cost savings initiatives & minimizing costs, reducing buffer and other financial requirement. Furthermore, you will need to handle a team of operational managers and monitor the performance of Tele-services through them. Lastly, you will need to achieve satisfactory audit rating and ensure no adverse findings in internal/external audit.

To qualify, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any related IT field
  • Around 12 years' IT experience
  • At least 6 years' experience in managing a large team in a contact center environment
  • Banking experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to thrive in matrix structure
