Our client, a fast growing and innovative player in the logistics space in Asia, is currently recruiting a Head of Commercial position to focus on growing the business in Malaysia. Working closely with the GM, you will assume P&L responsibility and play a key role in developing and driving the vision and commercial strategy for the business.

  • Leading the commercial team of 5-6
  • Collaborate with senior leaders around the region to ensure company vision is driven at a local country level
  • Tap into your existing network and business development strategies to grow the business, onboarding new client and partnerships
  • Design and implement the go to market strategy for Malaysia
  • Take ownership of key account management, building lasting partnerships across the region
  • Drive revenue through sales, while ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting for group management

Key skills & experience required:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in sales, business development and commercial strategy within the logistics and/or ecommerce industry
  • Good understanding of logistics within B2B, B2C and fulfilment
  • Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and growth focused business
  • Business and numbers-focused mindset, able to think commercially and drive strategies at all levels
  • Good communication and presentation skills - ability to converse in English and Bahasa Melayu is essential, plus any additional Asian languages would be an advantage
