Group Finance Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and publicly listed multinational group with a strong footprint across various key sectors. With operations spanning multiple regions, the company is known for its commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous business growth. In line with their expansion and evolving business needs, they are seeking a capable Group Finance Manager to join their corporate finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Group monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and consolidation process.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
• Oversee management reporting, financial analysis, and variance commentary for senior management and Board reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across the Group.
• Partner with business units to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Review and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and governance practices.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Support corporate exercises, business expansion initiatives, and ad-hoc finance projects when required.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive performance and operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within a listed company or multinational environment.
• Strong experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, and Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.
• Exposure to manufacturing, plantation, FMCG, or diversified group environments would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems would be an added advantage.
