Our client is one of the first global shared service centers of an international bank in Malaysia. It is the largest IT hubs in Asia and currently driving ambitious plans for continued growth. The bank itself is a tier-1 bank operating across all areas of retail, corporate and investment banking.

Reporting to the Global Head, you will need to provide business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps Technology Global Business services space to drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

You will need to have the business strategic experience as well as the ability to drill into details ensuring continuous improvements and efficiency.

As a Global Business Operations and Strategy Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders within the Technology Global Services to develop the annual plan and ensure that the organization and initiatives are in place to deliver on that plan.

You will also need to have the ability to have excellent problem-solving skills and be ready to handle complex processes.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: work closely with finance teams to ensure proper support and management information is provided to budgets and business efficient targets
  • Communication and Engagement: Support in Implementing of People Engagement Plan and Communication of Infrastructure related achievements to key stake holders.
  • Key Stakeholder: Various Senior stakeholder within the Global Technology Services which includes regional and vertical business and operations teams to define how best operate externally and internally to deliver on more productively and effectively in a complex, and fast evolving environment.
  • Strategy and planning: excellent in formulation and articulation of strategy



To Qualify:

  • Minimum 8 years in Business Planning or Business Continuity
  • Strong background from a consulting, financial, banking and IT industry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong experience in numeracy around budgeting, forecasting around head count and financial cost management.
  • ITIL and Six Sigma Certified is an advantage
