The Role
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time
  • Producing accurate financial statements covering balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow positions
  • Leading month-end and year-end closing activities and authorising reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal accounting procedures
  • Partnering with internal and external audit teams, supplying relevant documentation and financial insights
  • Analysing financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Recommending process improvements and system enhancements across GL operations
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you'll need:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Proven GL accounting experience, ideally with prior time in an audit firm
  • Confident working with ERP and accounting software platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • A grounding in tax principles and related processes
  • The communication skills to collaborate across teams and with auditors
