Our client is a leading retail chain store with over 50 retail outlets in Malaysia. They're looking for a General Sales Manager to take care of their local territory.
Our client will be looking for an individual who is able to understand & know the consumer expectation and apply appropriate marketing techniques to assess the market through brand positioning, competitors & consumer insights. The General Sales Manager will be responsible for all the sales & marketing activities in the country including monitoring the achievement of the sales team. He/ She will be required to have the ability to propose objectives that is in line with the group policy and implement various process improvement initiatives. This role is a hands-on management role who require high level of personal involvement among clients as well as his/her staffs to be able to develop and expand the sales channels.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Retail/ FMCG industries
- Strong experience and network in managing retail shops and road show
- Strong business acumen with experience managing big teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to engage clients/ customers and colleagues
- Hands-on and agile
