Finance Team Leader (AR & Treasury)

Responsibilities

  • To lead a team of Finance Assistants on Account Receivable & Treasury matters such as allocation, receipting and debt management.
  • Monitoring day to day operations, workload segregation and duty roster planning for the team.
  • Manages unallocated cash, cash resitting, debt management and bank reconciliation matters.
  • Responding to process and procedural queries from internal and external customers relating to broker debt management, management of unallocated cash and payments as required
  • Playing a leading role in transitioning new finance processing services to team as required.
  • Contributing to process performance reviews, efficiency reviews and audits as required.
  • Work closely with underwriters for allocation instruction, follow ups and identifying of payments

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Accounting with 2 - 3 years of supervisory position.
  • Demonstrated strong accounting knowledge in Accounts Recveivable and Treasury.
  • Previous experience in General Insurance or shared service insurance industry is desirable.
