Finance Manager (F&B)

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established player within the F&B industry with a growing presence across Malaysia. As part of their business expansion, they are looking for a hands-on and commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, treasury, and taxation.
• Manage monthly financial closing and ensure timely preparation of management reports and financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and budgeting to support operational efficiency across outlets/business units.
• Prepare financial analysis, profitability reports, and performance insights to support management decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Review and improve finance processes, SOPs, and internal controls to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Support business expansion initiatives, cost control measures, and operational finance matters within the F&B environment.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure smooth daily operations and continuous development.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.).
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and operational finance.
• Experience managing high transaction volumes and multi-outlet operations is an added advantage.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
