Finance Manager

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer specialising with a strong presence across Asia and global markets. The organisation serves a diverse portfolio of customers across various industries and operates a sizeable manufacturing facility in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and analysis.
• Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure appropriate financial controls, policies and processes are implemented and maintained.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and inventory-related matters.
• Support internal and external audit processes, tax matters and statutory reporting.
• Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
• Work closely with regional / group finance teams on reporting, consolidation and finance-related projects.
• Participate in process improvement, system implementation and other ad-hoc finance projects.
• Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and other business functions to improve financial performance.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
• 6-10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand business drivers and translate financial data into meaningful recommendations.
