Finance Director (Seremban)

The organization serves a diverse portfolio of clients across FMCG, healthcare, and industrial markets, with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director and leadership team on financial planning and decision-making
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and operational efficiency across manufacturing operations
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Oversee audit processes, liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance practices
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performance culture
• Support corporate exercises such as expansion projects, investments, and financing activities
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business growth and margin improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred
• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred
• Proven track record in business partnering, financial strategy, and operational finance
• Solid understanding of costing, inventory management, and plant finance
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, commercially driven, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
