Equipment Engineer

My client is a global semiconductor company that has been a market leader for decades due to their constant advancements in technological processes implemented within their manufacturing and design protocols. Due to increasing demands, they are now seeking an Equipment Engineer to join their team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Oversee the set up, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relevant equipment.
• Work closely with the Process Engineers to monitor and improve yield, cost and quality.
• Implement and review SOPs for operation & maintenance of new & existing equipment.
• Provide guidance to juniors and initiate equipment training and improvement plans.
• Emphasizing on increasing innovation, cost-reduction, and productivity improvement projects.
• Contributing to overall manufacturing operational efficiencies through implementing automation to reduce human effort whilst also highlighting the reduction of human error.

You should have:

• A bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline or equavalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years spent in an Electronics /Semiconductor Manufacturing environment specifically in the area of Equipment Engineering.
• Familiarity with Project Management.
• Experience working with process line integration would be an added benefit.
