The Role From order management to export documentation, you'll own the process end to end:
  • Overseeing order confirmations, contracts, and delivery schedules
  • Liaising with co-packers and the planning team to run shipment plans
  • Ensuring the accuracy and approval of key shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and Letters of Indemnity
  • Providing regular capacity and shipment updates to the Sales Team
  • Acting as team lead in the Customer Service Manager's absence
  • Identifying development needs and organising team training
What We're Looking For A seasoned customer service professional ready to lead with confidence:
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • At least 5 years' customer service experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Solid background in shipping, trade documentation (LC & Non-LC), and planning
  • Familiarity with SAP or an equivalent ERP, Incoterms, and import/export processes is advantageous
  • Sound understanding of FMCG commodities and ocean freight dynamics
  • Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflict, and manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Flexibility to respond to regional enquiries outside standard working hours
