The Role From order management to export documentation, you'll own the process end to end:
- Overseeing order confirmations, contracts, and delivery schedules
- Liaising with co-packers and the planning team to run shipment plans
- Ensuring the accuracy and approval of key shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and Letters of Indemnity
- Providing regular capacity and shipment updates to the Sales Team
- Acting as team lead in the Customer Service Manager's absence
- Identifying development needs and organising team training
What We're Looking For A seasoned customer service professional ready to lead with confidence:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least 5 years' customer service experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Solid background in shipping, trade documentation (LC & Non-LC), and planning
- Familiarity with SAP or an equivalent ERP, Incoterms, and import/export processes is advantageous
- Sound understanding of FMCG commodities and ocean freight dynamics
- Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflict, and manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Flexibility to respond to regional enquiries outside standard working hours
