Our client, a pioneer in the private education sector is currently recruiting for an Operations VP / COO to oversee an extremely diverse portfolio of responsibilities. This includes all strategic and operational management of the Finance, Human Resources, Systems and Methods, Facilities and Administration

Reporting to the Chairman of the organisation, the COO will work closely with the respective Heads of Operations and Principals of each school to provide strategic direction. The incumbent will also design and implement new 'formulas' to ensure that all schooling institutions are operating to maximum efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

To develop, implement and review overall strategic and operational plans in line with the Schools' development, growth and expansion.
Works closely with the School Principals and Heads of Operations to review business, financial and operational performance; and KPIs of the Schools.
Oversees and support the operational function of the Schools by providing strategic and operational leadership in developing and executing operational strategies and plans to ensure efficient and effective operations of these schools.
Undertake other assigned special and/or adhoc projects/duties from time to time.

To qualify, individuals must possess:
At least fifteen (15) years of relevant working experience.
At least eight (8) years of experience must be at senior management level.
A recognized Degree in business related field, MBA would be an advantage
Working experience in the education industry is preferred though all sectors considered
Understanding of educational institutions operations and different standards and practices.
Good stakeholder management, project management, and problem solving skills.
