Compensation & Benefits HR Specialist

Job description

Our client is a renowned MNC across many decades in it's respective industry. As part of an expansion of their established Shared Services, they are looking or a HR Specialist as an addition to their Compensation & Benefits team.

As a HR Specialist in Compensation & Benefits, your responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance in the design of compensation, benefits and wellbeing policies/initiatives in the region to ensure competitiveness and administer the company's compensation, benefits and wellbeing programs in alignment with regional and global guidelines

  • Participates and provide full support in the year-end Comp Planning process, including but not limited to developing guidelines, processes, consolidation of data, data validations, preparation of report for reviews etc. and escalates issues/concerns where necessary

  • Review and conduct job benchmarking and market pricing exercises in APAC by leading participation in various compensation and benefits surveys and, work and liaise closely with the APAC HR teams to ensure accurate and high-quality submission on time

  • Perform data analysis and generates meaningful insights using internal data/metrics and external data/trends to drive pay decisions and program designs. Data analysis is not limited just to employee compensation data but inclusive of any data related to benefits and wellbeing as well

  • Supports the Director, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS by providing proactive Project Management support for key Compensation, Benefits and Wellbeing projects and initiatives in APAC through their various lifecycle stages to ensure successful completion and impact. Support including but not limited to the implementation and administration of new programs, evaluation of existing programs to identify improvement areas or opportunities, analyzing employee utilization reports, coordinating wellbeing initiatives and activities etc.

The Right Candidate will possess:

  • 5 or more years of regional experience in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards

  • Flexible with a strong analytical and problem-solving attitude with an exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret data

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills; and at least one of the following job frameworks is MUST - Mercer, Towers Watson, Hay Group
