The Role

  • Define and execute commercial strategy aligned with long-term business growth objectives across regional markets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, building a culture of accountability and customer-centric performance
  • Drive disciplined sales execution through structured forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI accountability
  • Manage strategic customer accounts, deepening long-term partnerships and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Oversee commercial contract and risk management, ensuring agreements are financially sound and operationally deliverable
  • Apply strong financial acumen to pricing, budgeting, profitability analysis, and margin management
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, and finance to align commercial commitments with operational capability
  • Use data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform commercial decisions and strengthen competitive positioning

What We're Looking For

A senior commercial leader ready to operate at the highest level:

  • 10+ years of commercial experience, with at least 5 years in a field sales or account management capacity
  • Background in industrial sectors - energy, oil & gas, or logistics strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing distributed or regional teams
  • Proven track record in strategic account management, contract negotiation, and commercial governance
  • Regional market exposure and familiarity with mid to large-scale industrial customers
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
  • Ambitious career trajectory towards Country Manager or General Manager level
