Commercial Director

Our client is one of the region's leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and plastic solutions, their products cater to companies of all sizes across a wide range of industrial and consumer sectors. They are seeking an experienced Business Leader to drive their next phase of growth in the region.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy aligned with business goals, production capabilities, and market opportunities.
• Lead and manage the commercial team including sales, key accounts, marketing, pricing, and customer service.
• Drive long‑term business planning across segments, products, and regional markets.
• Ensuring strong collaboration between commercial and operational functions.
• Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and applications relevant to manufacturing output.
• Oversee business development initiatives, major tenders, and strategic customer negotiations.
• Build and maintain high‑value relationships with key local, regional, and multinational customers.
• Set annual sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals for the commercial team.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• 10-15 years of commercial, sales, or business leadership experience in the manufacturing sector, managing an annual turnover of at least RM 50 million per annum.
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading commercial teams.
• Strong financial acumen, negotiation capability, and strategic planning experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
