Our client is an Asian based digital organisation.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced CEO with a proven track record in business operations management to lead the growing team in Malaysia. You are responsible to develop & implement business strategies, improving operational efficiency and driving business growth whilst ensuring successful management of the P&L. You must have a proven and impressive track record of continual delivery and business growth. This will not only involve hitting and exceeding significant revenue targets but you must also demonstrate the ability to lead in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving operational systems, policies and processes.
  • Sustaining the operations by identifying new business and generating new opportunities.
  • Ensuring all activities are in accordance and are performer accordingly to the local regulations and laws governing the business operations.
  • Establishing systems and procedures for controls and evaluation of performances.
  • Developing and implementing objectives, strategies and efficient sales forecasting systems.
  • Monitoring and ensuring cost effective use of budget funds.
  • Leading continuous development and improvement of team selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Developing and leading business development planning, including forecasts and targets.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams across Technology, Digital, Sales, Marketing, HR & Finance.
  • Identifying key planning and proposing business strategies.
  • Developing and improving operational systems, policies and processes.
  • Reviewing and analysing financial reports, highlighting issues, and proposing improvements.
  • Managing performance reviews and ensuring HR objectives are aligned within the business

The Successful Applicant

To qualify, candidates must possess:

  • At least 10 years of working operational management experience either in a within Technology, Digital or the financial sectors.
  • Proven success in people management, including setting measurable objectives, assessments and creating performance cultures.
  • Experience in user experience and customer satisfaction in a service-oriented role.
  • Prior experience in key commercial roles will be advantageous.
  • A willingness to be hands-on and understand the 24/7 demand of the business.
  • Previous responsibility in managing P&L of a set up/market.
