The Role

Lead all aspects of SPV management and project delivery for a flagship solar initiative in Malaysia. Key responsibilities include:

• Steering strategic planning and business performance across the SPV, converting objectives into operational plans and measurable KPIs
• Overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Managing significant capital and operational budgets with full financial accountability
• Building and leading a cross-functional team, with a focus on performance, capability development, and succession planning
• Cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders - government bodies, JV partners, contractors, and service providers
• Establishing robust governance, risk, and compliance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle

What We're Looking For

A seasoned leader with deep energy sector expertise and the executive presence to lead at this level. You'll bring:

• 15+ years in renewable energy, with a focus on large scale solar projects
• A track record managing large-scale energy projects, ideally with Malaysian and international exposure
• Prior experience leading a SPV would be ideal
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, financial modelling, and deal structuring
• Proven track record negotiating and closing complex deals across local, regional, and international markets
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrixed, multinational environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or Master's degree advantageous
