The Role

Setting the pace across every dimension of a complex manufacturing operation:

• Shape and drive the company's long-term vision, translating strategy into clear, measurable business plans
• Take full ownership of P&L performance, setting and surpassing targets across revenue, profitability, and market share
• Oversee all operations, production assets, and compliance requirements, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
• Develop and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture built on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Bridge the Board and operational teams, delivering clear, timely reporting on performance, risk, and opportunity
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

A commercially sharp, technically grounded leader with the gravitas to perform at the very top:

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 15 years of leadership progression, including a decade or more at senior executive level within steel manufacturing or heavy industry
• A strong track record of strategic growth and consistent P&L delivery
• Sound working knowledge of steel production processes, supply chain, and key plant machinery
• Confident in leveraging ERP systems to drive operational efficiency
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
• High integrity, resilience, and an ability to thrive in a fast-moving industrial environment
