The Role

Leading procurement for a large-scale plant expansion, you will be responsible for:

• Owning end-to-end tendering and bid evaluation for major equipment packages
• Shaping category sourcing strategies for heavy equipment, machinery, and engineering services
• Negotiating high-value agreements across pricing, delivery terms, warranties, and total cost of ownership
• Carrying out spend analyses and ongoing risk assessments to keep the project on budget and on schedule
• Working closely with site engineers on equipment delivery and commissioning
• Building and maintaining a strong supplier base, including long-term relationships with global and local partners

What We're Looking For

A commercially confident procurement professional ready to take ownership of a complex capital project:

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar Capex or strategic procurement role
• Proven negotiation skills with complex equipment packages and international suppliers
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP and e-procurement tools
• Sound understanding of commercial contract law and risk management principles
• Project management experience or certification (PMP/PRINCE2) is a distinct advantage
