Business Development Manager

Job description

Join a leading freight forwarding solutions company as a Business Development Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies to expand market share within the northern region of Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand new areas to be developed and target to increase sales portfolio.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to secure new accounts.
  • Service client needs to develop and maintain sustainable relationships with new and existing clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience within the freight forwarding and transport industry.
  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin would be advantageous).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Highly passionate in sales and has strong business acumen.
