Our client is a globally recognised provider of bakery ingredients and solutions, with a strong commercial footprint across Malaysia and key Asian markets. Serving industrial, craft and artisanal bakeries alike, they are known for the quality and innovation behind their products. They are now looking for a driven Business Development Executive to join their team in Balakong.

The Role

In this permanent, field-based role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with distributors to drive sell-out, grow market share and achieve targets within assigned territories
• Executing agreed sales plans and initiatives alongside distributor teams
• Uncovering and nurturing new customer opportunities within distributor networks
• Communicating product value propositions effectively and supporting new product launches and trials
• Gathering market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity and industry trends
• Monitoring and reporting on sales activities, outcomes and market developments

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• At least 1 year of sales experience; a background in food or FMCG is a distinct advantage
• Confident communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• A natural ability to build strong relationships with customers and distributor teams
• A structured, detail-oriented approach to managing reporting tasks and follow-ups
• A degree in Business, Food Science or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
