Branch Manager - Johor

Our client is global freight‑forwarding and logistics provider that specialises in managing end‑to‑end international transport via seafreight and airfreight. With an extensive worldwide network of offices, partners, and strategic hubs, the company supports importers and exporters across all major trade lanes, connecting Asia‑Pacific, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch activities including sales, operations, customer service, and administration.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team to achieve both financial and operational KPIs.
  • Establish clear goals for each department and ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Maintain a strong focus on service quality, operational accuracy, and compliance.
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships and maximize wallet share via cross‑selling and value‑added services.
  • Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to support large tenders and RFQs.
  • Monitor branch performance through KPIs such as GP, DSO, shipment volumes, on‑time delivery, and customer satisfaction.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in leadership roles within seafreight and/or airfreight logistics.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L.
  • Excellent understanding of international trade, INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and carrier networks.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
