VP, Trustee Operations

Our Client

A reputable bank is seeking an experienced VP, Trustee Operations to oversee the overall operations and compliance of all units, reporting to HOD.

About the Role

  • Lead operational units across unit trust, fund valuation, wills, private trust, e-money, estate, billing, collection and documentation to ensure prudent and timely delivery to the business
  • Monitor overall performance especially of the trustee operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and complaints
  • Coordinate with onboarding team to onboard new clients and businesses, including managing the process and ensuring operational readiness to serve the new accounts
  • Provide guidance to unit heads on operational, administrative, performance management, compliance and legal matters
  • Motivate and manage the staff with comprehensive review on their work performance to ensure compliance, efficiency, accuracy and customer-centric business support services
  • Champion the process automation and system enhancement with proper documented user requirements and system specifications, comprehensive and properly documented and signed off UAT
  • Attend meetings with clients and advisers on due diligence, corporate and legal exercises; Keep abreast with the industry trends, guidelines, policies, rules and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Science or relevant discipline(s)
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in banking capital markets or the trustee business
  • Proven experience and records of leading a team and managing corporate exercises
