Assistant Manager, Investment Operations

Our client, a well-established financial services group, is looking for a capable and detail-driven Assistant Manager to join their investment operations team in KL Eco City.

The Role
Here's what you'll own day-to-day:
  • Supervising and coaching junior team members across daily investment operations activities
  • Overseeing the full trade lifecycle, including settlement, corporate actions, cash management, and reconciliation
  • Managing collateral operations, including margin calls, ISDA and CSA agreements, and custody account monitoring
  • Reviewing portfolio reconciliations across custodians, fund managers, and Bloomberg
  • Handling derivative trade confirmations and alternative asset transaction entries
  • Supporting regional projects, system enhancements, and operational process improvements
  • Preparing KYC, regulatory, and audit documentation as required
What We're Looking For
You'll be a strong fit if you have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years' experience in middle office operations, collateral support, or trade processing
  • Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg AIM
  • Working knowledge of collateral management, ISDA and CSA documentation
  • Experience leading or coaching a team within an investment operations environment
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, solutions-focused mindset
