Our client, an established food manufacturer based in Gelang Patah, Johor, is looking for a confident and capable Maintenance Manager to take charge of their facility's maintenance function on a permanent basis.

The Role

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Developing and executing preventive and routine maintenance plans to minimise production downtime
• Managing repair, maintenance, and capital expenditure budgets within agreed parameters
• Conducting technical analysis to optimise production output, process control, and cost performance
• Leading, coaching, and developing a multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and operational efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP, and applicable health, safety, and environmental standards

What We're Looking For

You're a great fit if you have:

• A degree in Engineering (any discipline)
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a team management capacity
• A solid understanding of engineering processes within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing experience is a distinct advantage
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and departments
• A proactive, safety-first approach to quality and continuous improvement
